The Bachelor’s Degree BA (Hons) in Fashion Design in Málaga is an ideal choice for those wishing to pursue a career in the fields of creativity, the textile industry, and the design of garments and collections. Fashion design is a discipline that combines creativity, technical skill and market knowledge to develop innovative concepts in the field of clothing.

Furthermore, the centre boasts specialised facilities and technical equipment (cutting tables, sewing machines, overlockers, professional ironing machines, mannequins, a plotter, a chroma key, a photography studio, a 3D printer, a light table, a Mac classroom, touchscreen monitors, etc.), enabling comprehensive training that is aligned with the professional reality of the sector.

The Higher Design Degrees offered by EADE are official university degrees comprising 240 ECTS credits and lasting four years, in accordance with Law 1/2024 of 7 June, which regulates higher arts education and establishes the organisation and equivalencies of professional arts education.
The curriculum for the Official Higher Artistic Education in Design for the Autonomous Community of Andalusia was published in Decree 111/2014 of 8 July, which establishes Higher Artistic Education in Design in Andalusia. This official qualification is awarded by the President of the Regional Government of Andalusia on behalf of the King of Spain.
These official qualifications are valid throughout the State and take full effect from the date of full completion of the studies required for their award, and entitle holders to enjoy the rights granted in each case by the provisions in force.
These courses do not require the Selectividad or EBAU (University entrance exams) as an entry requirement, but candidates must pass a specific compulsory test which the Regional Government of Andalusia usually sets in early July and September/October. EADE provides free preparation for candidates to pass this test; to date, 100% of students have passed.
Places for the Specific Test will be available for booking from January onwards. The Centre for Higher Studies in Design is authorised by the Regional Ministry of Education of the Regional Government of Andalusia, with centre code number 29018844. As this is an official Spanish qualification, students are eligible for public grants such as the General Grant or the Adriano Grant.

MELERO GUTIÉRREZ, SILVIA
Owner of La Gioconda Novias y Fiesta, a business she opened at a young age, becoming one of the youngest businesswomen in the city. Her passion for fashion runs in the family, as her mother owned Bambino, a well-known children's and first-communion clothing shop in central Málaga at the time. She studied Tourism at the University of Málaga, spending one academic year in Germany.
NUÑEZ BARRANCO, ALFONSO NOEL
PhD in Fashion Design from Kyung Hee University (South Korea), specialising in aesthetics and visual culture. He has worked as a designer, stylist and model for brands and platforms such as New Balance, Musinsa, Aland and Seoul Fashion Week, as well as for institutions including the World Bank and UNESCO. He has received an award from the Korean Fashion Association and participates in international exhibitions. He combines teaching with research and interdisciplinary creation between Asia and Europe.
TORRES ROJAS, ALVARO
Master's Degree in Graphic Design and Animation. Master's Degree in Teacher Training. Graduate in Advertising and Public Relations. Senior Technician in Graphic Arts, specialising in Illustration. PhD candidate. Lecturer for various organisations, including Benalmádena Town Council, the University of Valladolid, the Association of Municipalities of the Sierra de las Nieves and the Andalusian Regional Government. Podcaster on The Rock FM radio programme El Amplificador.
RUBIO MARIN, ANDREA
Graduate in Fashion Design in London, where she developed her professional career for more than ten years in fashion design, specialising in menswear and tailoring. She worked there for several fashion brands, including Omar Kashoura and John Richmond, contributing to collections featured at London Fashion Week. Her overseas studies have been officially recognised by the San Telmo School of Art in Málaga. Professional experience as a content creator and trainer on sustainable and circular fashion courses. Her most recent fashion creation has been exhibited at the Automobile and Fashion Museum in Málaga.
GARCIA CISNEROS, EVA MARIA
Master's Degree in Teacher Training. Graduate in Audiovisual Communication. Twenty years of professional and teaching experience. Lecturer in Photographic Projects, Multimedia Products, and Game and Interactive Environment Projects at CESUR. Instructor on vocational training courses specialising in Production, Computer-Aided Design and Web Programming.
SALAMANCA NAVARRO, JESUS
Graduate in Fashion Design from the University of Granada. Specialist courses in Window Dressing, Visual Merchandising, Luxury Sales and Pattern Making. Professional experience as a dressmaker for the Lorenzo Caprile fashion house and currently working in visual merchandising at Massimo Dutti. Winner of several fashion awards, including Fortuny and Fashion Week Almería. He combines his work with the creation of fashion collections.
MERINO OSORIO, JULIA
Master's Degree in Interdisciplinary Artistic Production from the University of Málaga. Graduate in Fashion Design. Specialist in stage costume. Experience in tailoring and assistance on national and international film projects (Peris Costumes 20182020). She has worked in the costume department on productions including the musical Company (Teatro del Soho CaixaBank, 2021), 30 Coins (HBO, 2022), Santuario (Atresmedia, 2023) and Entrepreneurs (Disney, 2024). She has taught Fashion Design at the San Telmo School of Art and Higher School of Design and currently combines teaching with work in the film industry.
CALAFAT CUETO, ÁLVARO
Graduate in Fashion Design. Founder and Creative Director of the Álvaro Calafat 1995 fashion house. After completing his degree in Fashion Design and before creating his own brand, he worked for other fashion houses such as Palomo Spain, Q-Factory Spain and Dior, further developing his expertise in the sector. Since 2021, his collections have been featured on renowned platforms such as 080 Barcelona and Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid. In addition to collections, he creates made-to-measure pieces, ranging from bridal gowns to looks for celebrities. Among the public figures he has dressed are Quevedo, Nathy Peluso, Danna Paola, Delaossa, Manuel Turizo, Mëstiza, Samantha Hudson and Astola (Fondo Flamenco), among others. All these creations are produced at his atelier in Alhaurín de la Torre. His many appearances in national and international media are also noteworthy, including Vogue Spain, Vogue Portugal, Schön Magazine, Metal Magazine, Neo2 Magazine, Marie Claire, Harper's Bazaar, Herdes Magazine, Diario Sur and ABC.

PAYMENT METHODS
At EADE we offer different payment methods so that each student or family can organise the investment in their education in the most convenient way possible.
The aim is to facilitate access to our university programmes and enable clear financial planning from the very start of the admissions process.
A) Full payment with early payment discount
Students who make full payment before the start of the course may benefit from a 5% early payment discount on the corresponding amount.
This option is designed for those who wish to settle their academic investment from the outset and benefit from a direct reduction in the total programme cost. It is a convenient alternative for families and students who prefer to simplify the financial management of the course and avoid periodic payments throughout the academic year.
B) Direct debit payment in 7 monthly instalments.
For those who prefer to spread the course fee more comfortably, EADE offers the option of paying by direct debit in 7 monthly instalments.
This option helps better organise the family economy and spread the educational investment throughout the course, without having to pay the full amount in a single payment. It is a simple, practical, and planned formula for accessing university education with greater flexibility.
C) Bank financing in 10 interest-free monthly instalments
EADE also offers the option of bank financing in 10 interest-free monthly instalments through partner banks.
This option is aimed at students and families who wish to have a longer payment term, facilitating access to the programme and allowing for better financial organisation. The specific financing conditions will be communicated during the admissions or enrolment process, so you can assess the option with all the necessary information.
SCHOLARSHIPS AND FINANCIAL AID
In addition to the payment methods, EADE offers information and guidance on various scholarships, aid, and discounts that can facilitate access to university education.
Official scholarships
If you are entitled to a Ministry of Education scholarship or one from any other public or private institution, you must apply for it directly through the official website of the relevant body.
EADE will provide you with the academic documentation you need for its processing, provided that the programme you intend to study meets the requirements established by the granting body. Our team can advise you on the documentation you may need during the process. These scholarships are only applicable to the official Design degrees in Graphic Design, Interior Design, Product Design, and Fashion Design.
Alumni discount
EADE alumni can benefit from a 10% discount when enrolling in another programme at the centre.

Training credit bonus for working professionals
For working professionals, certain programmes may be eligible for funding through the training credits that the State Foundation for Employment Training makes available to companies.
This funding allows companies to support their employees' training through Social Security contribution reductions, provided the established requirements are met. The management of training credits will be carried out through a specialised partner company.
